    30,000 wooden coffee stir sticks woven in place and held by tension East/West Project Space Berlin, Germany

    The Berlin Piece is a woven stir stick installation that was created over the course of a six day residency as part of the east/west project for The Dam Stuhltrager Gallery and Gallery Homeland in Berlin Germany. Formally the piece is a hybrid of the extruded basket forms found in the city gallery piece, and the intersecting planes developed in the memphis piece and the norman piece respectively. The piece is the fifth site-specifc installation in a marathon sereis titled Have Sticks Will Travel World Tour for the full schedule click here.
